Invitation to GEF consultation with Civil society

The GEF CSO Network is pleased to invite you to the *GEF Consultation with Civil Society* on *Friday, June 14th, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am EST (Washington DC time)*, to be held via Zoom.

For years, the GEF partnership has acknowledged the crucial role civil society plays in delivering global environmental benefits and promoting sustainable development, human rights, policy-making, and social services.

This event will gather:
– Members of the GEF partnership
– The GEF CSO Network
– Various civil society representatives
– Beneficiaries of GEF projects and programs

We are excited to hear from representatives of Indigenous Peoples, women, youth, and persons with disabilities, who will discuss their experiences and current initiatives. This consultation aims to enhance our understanding of the GEF’s approach to civil society engagement and to explore pathways for deeper collaboration as we look towards GEF-9 and beyond.

This virtual, interactive event promises to be a vibrant platform for discussion and reflection.
